Developmental Milestones

It is important to know that Infants and Toddlers develop and reach their developmental milestones at their own pace; developmental milestones are activities that most children can do by a certain age. A child’s development refers to your child’s growth and physical, mental, emotional, and social changes. The way your child plays, learns, speaks, and moves all offer important clues about your infant or toddlers development.

Parents should not panic if their child is not reaching their developmental milestones within the exact time frame listed. Developmental milestones serve as a guide to provide awareness in anticipating what may be coming next in development so parents can prepare to help their child grow and identify significant delays in their child’s growth.
